If I Stay

Okay, so I just finished watching If I Stay, and let me say this. It was so beautifully amazing. The way it was set, I felt like it was that time of year, and I felt like it was that time of day. The movie just captured me and put me in there with them.
I teared up a lot. It was so moving and powerful. I thought I was going to throw a fitful son. My chest just wanted to burst and cry, but I didn’t.
Every aspect of the movie was just so strong. Yes, of course there were some parts that were changed, but it was starling close to the book. The movie captured the mood and it fit every scene endearingly.
Overall, I really enjoyed If I Stay.

Everything was heartfelt and I was heartbroken and I hope they make a movie for Where She Went.

If you take a young man and woman and they both tell a stranger that they work in the same restaurant, it’s very likely that they will assume that the woman is the waitress, and the young man a cook.

But I thought a woman’s place was in the kitchen? Not when she’s being paid for it. I can’t believe it took me this long to realize the implication of this. A woman’s place is one of servitude.

this fucking hit me like a fucking train
